9-1-1 for KIDS

Adopt a 9-1-1 Communications Officer!

Jefferson 9-1-1 is the centralized dispatch center for all the towns and cities in the county. Jefferson County 9-1-1 handles 9-1-1 calls and non-emergency calls, as well as dispatches for dozens of police, fire and EMS agencies.

Jefferson 9-1-1 is a committed group of people who are dedicated to our community and who provide life-saving assistance to those in need every day. Help us to show gratitude to your neighbors and friends who work here and dedicate their lives to serving the public!

You are invited to Adopt a Dispatcher! Jefferson has full and part-time dispatchers who are highly trained and compassionate individuals who can connect callers with immediate resources 24/7/365.

What does adopt mean? You and/or your church/civic/club/classroom can send a note, gift, gift card, or any gift you would like to give, especially handmade art!

If you or your organization would like to participate in Adopt a Dispatcher, please call 865-475-6855 to arrange to drop off your notes, gifts, tributes and care packages.

Public Records Request

The Tennessee Public Records Act (TPRA) grants Tennessee citizens the right to access open public records that exist at the time of the request. The public does not have access to documents and information exempted by state and federal law.

Please use the form to make an official Freedom of Information Act request to the Jefferson County Communications Center. You may also make your request by calling 865-475-4911. We will contact you if any fees are required for the requested information. Please allow 7-10 business days for records to be compiled.
